Drummond Woodsum is seeking a full-time Corporate Paralegal to join our Portland, ME office. This position will provide a range of support for attorneys in our Business Services Group.Responsibilities Will Include Preparing, reviewing, analyzing and organizing documents in connection with a wide range of complex corporate transactions Managing the records of the firm s extensive list of business clients Filing annual reports Managing requests for various state certifications and filings Interacting with clients on requests for materials in the firm s records Assisting in the closing of various transactions including drafting closing documents and certificates, and the organization and circulation of closing documentsQualifications & Position Expectations Ability to work well independently and as part of a team through effective communication strategies Ability to manage workflow and work under tight deadlines with competing and shifting priorities Energetic, organized, detail oriented, and a willingness to work hard Ability to bill 1300 hours annually towards the firm s paralegal billing expectation Previous experience handling general corporate and other business transactionsTo apply, please submit your resume and letter of interest.
