The Outpatient Caseworker is responsible for providing support to Leadership, monitoring of ongoing training, tracking census for the Department, active involvement in the admissions and data entry processes and / or various quality assessment and improvement related functions.# This includes seeking out and maintaining documentation regarding policy and procedure standards for various regulatory agencies / bodies relevant to the Department. The Outpatient Caseworker is also responsible for receiving and coordinating assessments for client referrals to any program within Community Programs.# This process will entail the completion of preliminary assessment tools, assignment to the appropriate level of care and benefit verification for this level of care.# Additionally, the Outpatient Caseworker will ensure accurate demographic information is entered into the SMS System and notify programs of new admissions. Requirements #High School graduate or equivalent required; Bachelor#s Degree in Human Services related field plus experience in organizing and managing clinical documentation in a partial hospitalization program or outpatient-type programming preferred. #Good communication skills (written and verbal). #Utilization/application of computer data entry and reporting. #Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills. The candidate must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance and a Child Abuse History Clearance which are processed by KidsPeace. The candidate must pass a Physical # Drug Screening # possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all KidsPeace sponsored trainings.
